Alex is 10 months old!

Alex gets his first teeth!

Hmmmm, 10 months old... any teeth yet?Yup! 2 of them!nom nom nom - gotta keep those gums cool!growing teeth sure makes me hungryand sleepy!

The Princess and the Iso Peanut

Andrew and Callie both just finished performing in a locally written musical - "The Princess and the Iso Peanut." Andrew played King Alexander (yes, that was actually his name!), and Callie played the triple roles of Queen Alyssa (basically Sleeping Beauty's mom on the phone), a Traditional Royal Singer, and a Pirate Wench!Arrrrrr ye mateys...Our friend Roz wrote all the music!Callie as Queen Alyssa in the "Calling All Kingdoms" songthe Traditional Royal Singersthe Finale!

Alex is 9 months old!

Alex is growing up so fast! He is now so adept at crawling the only time he rolls is if we're trying to change his diaper. He can also not only pull himself up to standing, but let go and stay standing with perfect balance, squat or bend down to pick something up, and stand back up all on his own - yay Alex!

8 months already!

Wearing stripes, behind bars, banging a cup against them... classic :)Alex decided he wanted to sit in the boppy to play - so cute!Then discovered the tambourine fit in that same puka perfectly - so smart!He really REALLY likes forts. To the point of pulling everything off the bookshelves so he can "hide" in them :)Alex's first time to the park/playground next door! (with friends Eme and Ruby Dylan)

Moving!

Our last day at our old (and his first) apartment. Say goodbye to the baby in the mirror!At our new apartment, obviously baby proofing a small area he could move around in while we could supervise and unpack at the same time was key!I see you hiding underneath that jumper.... why don't you come out here and see me?...crawl crawl crawl...I got you mommy!One of the high points of our new apartment is that it has a tub so Alex can take baths in his ducky tub - he loves it! He also just discovered he can splash with his legs!

Alex is 6 months old!

So handsome and don't i know it!He has a pure way of making you feel like you are the most wonderful and fascinating person in the world, no matter who you are :)No problems with balance or strength!He pulled himself to standing on the edge of his toy box, pulled it over then pulled all his toys out!and yet, one of his favorite "toys" is a simple red plastic cup!
